Our Founder

Evan Oglesby of the NFL and a native of Toccoa Ga., has a B.S. in Business Management from the University of North Alabama. Evan has a passion to work with children of deprived homes, educational limitations and adolescents who seek mentoring to strive beyond expectations. His humble spirit and positive,energetic character has played a key role in the decisions many youth have made regarding important crossroads in life. Evan has mastered the art of connecting with children from backrounds such as his own and longs to help any child at any educational level be successful in life. He has devoted much of his off-season time to give professional education instructors assistance with students and has been acknowledged for his social activism and community service work whereever he wore a uniform in the NFL.

Timothy C. Escott Treasurer
Timothy C. Escott, CFA, is the Southeast Regional Director for Maple Capital Management, Inc., and is located in the Atlanta, GA area. Tim received his under-graduate degree in Business from North Carolina State University, and his MBA from Wake Forest University. Tim received the Chartered Financial Analyst “CFA” designation from the CFA Institute in 1996. Tim has worked in the field of Investments and Finance since the early 1990s, and spent time at several major southeastern banks before joining Maple Capital in 2005. Tim is an active member in his church where he serves on the Finance Council as well as the music ministry.

Sherrie Whiten Secretary
Recently retired as Superintendent of the Stephens County School System in Georgia Mrs. Whiten is a graduate of University of Georgia and has spent a long career in education and giving back to the community.

Jipika Oglesby
A third grade teacher at E W Oliver Elementary School In Riverdale, GA , Ms. Oglesby has extensive experience in developing and conducting hands on learning experiences for children in their formative years. She is also the perfect liason for collaborating with community stakeholders and funding partners.
